Apollo 15 (I think?) was just about all U of M alumni (post grad) and
they did name a crater Wolverine. I have not read they left a U
of M banner. I understand they left a replica of a statuette in memory of
fallen astronauts. There was clearly a plaque on their
lunar module the Falcon about leaving the moon that they had delivered wheels (the moon buggie).
