Walking down a memory lane
Yes, yet another post. The drawings => random stuff I doodled yesterday. Today, I had the weirdest thing. I had these sort of flashbacks all day long. In one of my last MSN conversations, the subject of songs connected to emotions was mentioned (yes this is sort of related to the most romantic song u ever heard from the last post XD). Most songs have memories or emotions (and because of that persons) linked to them. I don't really link songs to persons (except for one or two songs =S), I link them to area's of time.

This morning at breakfast the name Manigod (or however it's spelled) was mentioned. Manigod is a french little village I went to a couple of times in the summer breaks with my family. When it was mentioned, the song Cabron by the RHCP started to play in my head. Memories of last summer (and some summers a couple of years ago) popped up in my head.
Later today I was listening some P!ATD songs. My mind went back instantly to spring last year. Their concert, the Trier-trip, the hospital. But also the temperature. Walking in a t-shirt trough Utrecht, trying to find that club. All those Vans (and fans ×_×). Than the train to and trough Germany, the hotel(room) we stayed at, Keulen. After that the smell of the hospital, the great taste of the food served there (horrible ×_×), the crazy nightmare I had the night I had to go there. Crazy. The p!atd songs are a few of the songs with most memory linked to them for me. I also have more memories linked to the p!atd concert than to most others concerts..
We went to visit my aunt and uncle today as well. There is one point on the highway that always reminds me of the 2e klassekamp to heino terugreis. I always hear that song Holiday In Spain( Blof & Counting Crows) and see the inside of that bus when we pass that place...
iTunes shuffle played The Future Freaks Me Out + Sugar We're GoingDown . Oct/Nov/Dec 2005. I had just downloaded new songs (those two mainly) and had no clue how the FOB and MCS guys looked like. We were discussing bands in the Bio-room, at one point. I still remember that random moment of walking to my seat thinking about FOB+MCS.
Also today I was listening to Gorillaz stuff. Man, the London-trip all over again. That huge store where I bought that CD, the bookstore next to the MacD where I bought the HP part 3, those musea we had to visit, the tube...
I got a tune stuck in my head at one point today. A bit vague, don't even know what song anymore, but it was a "dancesong". I think something they played at the THIMUN party or so. Ofcourse memories of the thimun party came to mind. They turned into memories of the HMUN party, which I preferred I guess (yes, good memories). If I try and think about it, I can't remember what songs they played at those parties (ok no, I remember stuff the band played. It's the stuff those DJ's played I can't remember).

The whole day I had such memories about the most random stuff. Kinda weird. Also what was remarkable was that no song was linked to a feeling of regret or anger or any other unhappy emotion. (ok the hospital wasn't exactly fun, and p!atdconcert was rahter regretable nadehand gezien, but still).
Another question for y'all. If there was one song, you should be remembered by what would it be? Which song would you want ppl to think about you everytime they hear it? I might know one such song, but I aint saying it before I got some replies.

that's it. I'll propably stop posting so often, I have stuff to do. Oh joy hw =( .
