Ok this whole vakantie (slechts 3 dagen) heb ik nog niks van me laten horen dus doe ik dat nu maar.

Ik had het laatst op school over how to draw Jonathan. The guy is actually named Jonathan Crane (from batman begins). freaky how much he looks like jonathan in our class (in this picture at least, the actor (Cillian Murphy) doesnt look like him).

Ok here's my review...

Yesterday we had 5 hours of school instead of 7. Everyone had to go to this movie (probbly a shittie one) cause they have CKV. Us being nerds have KCV, so we could skip that. School, shoppig, went home. For more details about school+shopping go to maxitaxi or stroopwaffel blog.
I wished i could have gone to the lost prophets concert... would have been fun. But hey we have FOB tickets(on a wensday in tilburg / had to cycle trough the rain to get tickets.. shows how much i love them) and OKGO tickets, so i cant complain.

Yesterday between the shopping and concert i wasnt exactly thrilled to go. I was very tired and i didnt know how the crowd would be. After the concert however, i was really happy.

About the crowd- there was no crowd. There were very few ppl ( about 80?). The balcony was closed cause there werent enough ppl. The support band didnt look to happy (probbly cause of this). San Andreas was the support act:

I didnt really like them, a bit to screamo-ish. At first the most movement they got was this blonde emokid chewing gum. Later some ppl were moveing some head/legs/feet, but nothing to wild.

Before they (the supportact) started, we saw the DE singer look at the zaal. He had this brilliant WTFexpression (cause of the great amount of ppl he saw:P).

Disco Ensemble was great. I heard only a couple of their songs, but this time it didnt really matter, cause they played some of my favoured songs like Drop Dead Casanova, Black Euro and ofcourse We might fall apart.. (who has spotted the quote?). Anyway, they rocked. I've got photos+filmpjes. I'll upload them when ive got time. They got a 4man moshpit. It was very funny to watch a couple of guys trying to start a mosh pit. Because of the lack of ppl we could stand pretty close to the stage, it was awesome.

When they finished, the had still 30 min left before nienies dad would arrive to drive us home. So we sat on the stage (before the closed curtain). I heard footsteps behind me and looked behind the curtain. There was this roadie person playing the keyboard (unplugged) like nobody was watching him. It was pretty funny. When he saw me he immediatly stopped and walked away looking rather pissed. For a moment i though he was going to kick us of the stage..
Later when i looked again, he was standing there again, some stuff aan het opbergen, and this time the guy looked more embarrassed than pissed. So after a while, we were talking+sitting on the border of the stage+drinking some beer, i heard footsteps again. So i looked again and this time it was the bassplayer and drummer. Lasse Lindfors (bass) and Mikko Hakila (drums). They were pretty nice and M asked for autographs.

Disco Ensemble was better than P!ATD, but he support act of P!ATD (dutch band clueless) was better. I still think FOB's concert was the best of all.

Film en andere nieuw media zijn moderne, zeer geschikte middelen om filosofie mee te bedrijven.

Filosofie is het streven naar kennis door middel van denken. Door vanuit waarnemingen te redeneren kun je een mening vormen over de Waarheid die achter het waarneembare ligt. Elk mens neemt waar en vormt, bewust of onbewust, op grond van die waarnemingen een model van de Waarheid. Bij nieuwe waarnemingen of feiten die niet overeen komen met het model, kunnen er twee dingen gebeuren. Ten eerste kan de nieuwe waarneming als onzin, onverklaarbaar of als werk van god worden gezien. Of het model moet worden aangepast zodat de nieuwe waarneming erin past.
Film is een zeer geschikt medium voor filosofie omdat het confronteert met verschillende waarnemingen. Die geven een nieuwe kijk op de feiten en voegen daarmee informatie toe aan het waarheidsmodel.
Feitenkennis en situaties, geschetst in en door verhalen, zijn de basis voor elke gedachtevorming en discussie. Belangrijk bij film is dat de waarnemingen in verschillende verhaallijnen kunnen worden geplaatst en alle lijnen automatisch aan het model worden getoetst. Niet passende verhalen zetten aan tot denken om aansluiting aan het model te vinden of tot verwerping van de verhaallijn (deze wordt dan als fictie of onrealistisch afgedaan).

Sketch i made for my new ets. De drawing kinda sucks, the ets will be better (i hope). My scanner made the weird shading, cant help it.

I want to see the movie The Science of Sleep (Jk's comment about horseriding+dreaming reminded me of this). The problem is, only het filmhuis plays the movie. This sucks ( crycrycry! (go watch lazyboy)), because in our 2nd year our mentor made us see a movie there. Bad memories make me not wanna go there. Is there someone with any idea how to solve this horrible problem? :P

Now i like to whine (hey thats partly what a blog is for, aint it?) about school. It sucks, we have too much work, too boring lessons and still too many weeks till the kerstvakantie.

Ok so i just went to bring back a dvd to the videoworld. 8 dagen te laat. So i walked in, handed the thing over and said it might be late. The guy (quite cute) said he'd checked (i was like shit, im almost broke). Then he said it didnt matter and i didnt need to pay.. lol.
I think it was the same guy who the last time thought i was english, because i didnt say anything when i payed/ he checked adress/card thing. When he handed back some cash (i paid with 5 or 10 €) he spoke in english. Ofcourse i didnt say anything back, but laughed my ass of just outside the videoworld :P.
On my bike (10 min ago) i was thinking about some thing, to do or not to do, such a question. Then my iPod started to play the song Do What You Want. I swear to god, m'n ipod loopt soms met me te fokken. Soms heb ik ook als ie op shuffle staat, dat ie naar het nmmr gaat wat ik dan wil luisteren. Erg freaky.

Okay, mijn slimme post. Ik had gewoon zin om dit te posten.
Natuurlijk there is a picture, but a niet-related one. Tis m'n oude kaft van m'n mathbook.
About this post. I said today: 'ow i feel a great blog post coming up!' someone asked: 'about what?' I answered : '42'. I liked my response, so ive decided to share it with you all :P.

This morning, while fietsend to school, i was thinking, whats the point of life? (niet erg origineel, i know) does any one have an answer? Makes a great romance or big adventure it all worth? Is there a purpose for us, is there a god? Wouldnt it be great to be able to in de toekomst te kijken? Doesnt dunglish steen? I wont upload my great fylosofie story yet, first wanna know if im accepted for lapp top.

The guest speaker at lemun said that scientist were looking for god, but just in the wrong place. I completely disagree. I believe that scientists are looking for the truth (what the hell is the truth, btw). Humans created god(s) because they cant explain everything, and they need an explanation. Why do we always need to be able to explain evertything? And if we cant explain it, why do they not just as except it as not explained yet, but make great stories about gods and events to explain stuff?
And is everything we see true? How can we know we dont live in a dream, not yet awake, but soon to discover the real world?
I also think that we blame god for our own weakness/strength. I mean if i dont learn for my physics tests, i fail. If i am shy, i'll make less friends (than others). If someone bulleys you, he does it, a god does not make him (the guy probably does it to feel better about himself).
So why do so many ppl believe in god(s)?? Why do they act 'in the name of" (i do not mean those terrorists, they're just suicidal+got promises about a heaven)?

I hope i didnt offended someone, but this is how i feel about it.

Ok the edited Lemun Post. Well im not feeling like telling every detail so i'll give a short version. First day (my first day, Saturday)- I actually spoke (asked a point of information (at the 'fun debate')) Chairs and committee turned out to be great, or at least better than munish/minimun. I was a NGO instead of Egypt, because our chair, Maxime and Nienke messed up the first day. Had fun at the party. Maxime and I almost were the same clothes, i was planning on also wearing a black shirt with 'Black is the new Yellow' but i liked my red shirt better. Some of the reactions on Maximes shirt were quiet funny. The drawings are from saturday. I was thinking of munish while drawing the first one. He turned out to skinny to be the spaniard :P. The second drawing was during the guest speaker. I was paying attention, i can draw+listen at the same time... Its a drawing of the head of the delegate of Sudan. It turnde out pretty bad, he was moving, it was a pen sketch, and it was a moeilijk perspectief.

Second day (last day, Sunday)-I spoke again, yay! ppl who know me will understand my enthusiasme (isnt my spelling just great?).I send note(s) to Sudan (about the back of his head :P), PNA and ofcourse Poland(te veel notes ey nienie?). Which amazed me afterwards, i send a note to somebody besides RLW kiddies (yet again ppl who know me will understand my happiness+amazement (spelling yay!) about this). India got voted hottest male delegate, and korea most annoying/meanest (interessting (i hate that word) fact for ppl in the SCIR). Erg blij zondag avond, several reasons :D.

I felt great after Lemun, so happy that today (monday) ondanks het rotweer, i still felt happy :P (PE on my vans made me happy too, dunno why :S).

Teh great maxime (i sorta insulted her hence the great) already told me Urie was a wentz lookalike. I was like oh sure whtvr (hadnt seen the performance at the time). But i totally agree with her. They reminded me of fob (way to much, more than they normally do). Urie was indeed a wentz clone, this was mainly caused by his hair. Ross was dressed like Stump. And the bassplayer dude reminded me of Trohmania, dunno why. I do like the new bassplayer, hes from chicago (yay FOB!) and his name is jon (yay wikipedia!). Their photo on wikipedia is shitty, urie looks like a mix of wentz and Brandon Flowers. I dont like ross' shoes and it looks like he has a black eye :P. Ok ik ben in een afkraak bui.
Their performance sucked (back to the TMF performance), i write sins sounded very uhm... flat.
I also saw Razorlight's performance on the tmf awards. They played America (which i did like before, i've seen the music video) and their performance on the tmf awards made me like their music. I just love the song ; Golden Touch. Its sad that i dont like p!atd as i used to do, curious how there 2nd album will sound, maybe they improve and i'll like 'em more again.

A WIP/ preview of my latest photoshop work. I find it hard to draw/colour mouth, but i just suck at colouring hair (in photoshop).

2 new pics. One from the course (the last one) and one cause a was supposed to do my math hw. My scanner completely killed the pictures. Maybe I'll photograph them and upload the photo. I used aquerel + pencel. For the first one I used a ref pic, the second one is drawn after real skull (dunno who's skull).

Ballpen rlz!

Two new pen sketches. Nothing special, no models, just 2 ref pics. The eye from the first one ended up very bad. The ear of the second one annoyes me.


The ref for the second pic was a photo of Joe Trohman(aka Trojanman, aka Trohmania ( i saw that at the entrance of the melkweg at 4 feb (concert). there was a paper saying Fall Out Boy and some kids had written Trohmania and stuff like that on the paper.)) In the ref pic he had a can of red bull in his hand. I just love his expression on that pic.

My ridiculous busy weekend (MCR/MUN ish) was great btw.

computer stuff

I must be emo. I listened that song too much. The emo song by Adam and Andrew. Their song Nerds in Love is quite funny too. The concept isn't very original (of my drawing i mean). Photoshop about an hour. No ref. photo.

This picture took me ages (over 2.5 hours already) and it isn't even finished. It started as a pensketch. I used a reference photo, but i used it too much ( i haven't actually copied the photo, i used the brush tool). So i wont finish it, im do damn lazy.





These 3 are quite old, a few of my firts photoshop drawings. I used no reference pictures, except maybe for the sky (in the 2nd pic). I dunno exatcly how long they've taken. I guess the horse took over an hour, the balloon about half an hour, and the tree 10 minutes.

Drawn after a model. Im doing a course. Its model drawing course and this year were doing different techniques. These two are done with ink, a bamboo pen and water. Made them yesterday.


One of my fav. pictures. I used a reference photo for this one, but kind of lost the photo (one from the internet). Used graffiti(black background)+acrylics+black permanet marker.


This one is as old as the guitar picture. Inspired by Panic!at the disco and made with markers/pencil. used no ref pic.

That's about it.

First post... ain't going to introduce myself or stuff like that, im to damn lazy. So i joined this hype of blogs & livejournals, but my blog is going to be different! (or so i hope).
